Belgian Waffles Anyone?

I saw the Waring Pro Belgian waffle maker on Woot.com for $50 not too long ago.  I had just returned from vacation and the hotel we stayed at had similar irons at the breakfast counter; used them every morning!  So far so good, despite only using Krusteaz box mix.  If you're looking for a professional style waffle maker, I'd highly recommend this one.  I haven't tried sticking bacon in there like Alton did on the Man Food 2 show since the plates do not come out and it looks like it would be a pain to clean the grease out of the deep grids.  I'm posting this because I noticed that Amazon has these waffle makers for only $68 right now.  Usually they run around $100-$150!
